A Healthy Snack fit for your little Owls

This is a fun idea from the blog Super Heroes and Princesses. She has great ideas for teaching your preschoolers with fun books and activities. A few weeks back she was reading a book about Owls and came up with this healthy snack to go along with their story. LOVE IT!!

owlsnacks What we used:

  • Whole wheat bread
  • Sliced bananas
  • Nut butter (peanut or almond butter)
  • Cashew (for the nose)
  • Toasted Oat cereal for the hair)
  • chocolate chips for the eyeballs
  • The lid from a mason jar to cut the circle. And then a notch cut into the top.
